Fighting Terrorism in Africa

 

We are witnessing yet another cold war in Africa – poor Africa. It has been termed a breeding ground for  terrorists, who have a sole aim of wrecking havocs on the innocent citizens of the civilized world. The response of the world has been to train and sophisticate the security forces of Africa to control the situation. The situation that organized Africa to be in a buying position not a selling position. The situation that caused the African farmers to lose market to their counterparts in the civilized world. The situation that allowed the African governments to take excessive debts/aids to feed their not-selling farmers. The situation that created survival thinking and common sense not strategic thinking in the economic models of Africa. The situation that allowed only high school not university graduates to steer the wheels. The situation that created excess high school graduates who have no qualifications to further their education. The situation that minimized the horizons of life and maximized the horizons of death. The situation that caused the not-selling farmers to teach fatalism to their children to be ready for the eventual death or walk across the Sahara desert and jump into the Mediterranean sea. They will become either floating bodies, which they will not regret, after all, they are taught to be fatalist, or become survivors, which is not new to them; because they have always been survivors. Those who cannot be in either group will be arrested and detained indefintely at CAMPAMA. The situation that made the survivors better fed and clothed than directors, managers or even ministers in Africa. The situation that caused the so-called African brains and civil servants to abscond to the civilized world. The situation that forced African governments to take additional debts to compensate the innocent citizens of the civilized world who accept to briefly live in AID/HIV and Malaria infested Africa to teach some emergency relief works. The situation that caused the real value of the African debts to fall because the governments have few claims on the not-selling farmers to offset the debts. The situation the innocent donors/creditors of the civilized world will not accept but claim that the African governments have been cheating. The situation the African governments will not accept but ask the farmers to pay on what they have not sold. The situation that will send the fatalist children of the farmers into wilderness and demand head change. The situation the innocent donors/creditors will not accept, because they will lose the claims on those heads.

 But, if the heads are changed, civil wars ensue, because the fatalist children know only fatalism. The war ends upon the agreement that the citizens of the civilized world accept to write off the old debts and to replace them with new ones that will be used for repatriation of the refugees and the compensation of the aid workers who accept to live in AID/HIV and Malaria infested war torn areas. The situation that repeats the business cycle again and again as  farmers are not allowed to sell, farmers teach fatalism, schools graduate unqulified products, survival thinking dominates the models, and debts are scheduled and re-scheduled upon.

 

Does Africa need General Meyers and General Tommy Franks to train African securities to control the situation? The situation is poverty; and Africa is poor because it has been denied to sell. It has been  denied to sell because this is how the world has been organized by the World Trade Organization.

 

Boosting and sophisticating securities in a poverty stricken country can only produce Afghanistan. In the case of Africa, it will be worse than Afghanistan. Afghanistan was blessed with almost one belief and one people. Every country in Africa is blessed with thousand beliefs and thousand peoples. The securities, Mr. Franks and Meyers train today, will be rebels tomorrow, because when the people march on a head of State and demand him to be accountable, the very securities trained by USA will open killing fields to save the head; a tragedy for which Africa will never ever forgive USA. Governments will become hostages of the USA trained securities, who will be the only institution that can pose threat to governments, not the people anymore, not the toothless political parties, or the handpicked judiciary bosses or the poor home trained security forces.

 

Mr. Bush, President of the Civilized World, who has a problem to release his moral obligation towards the AID’s funds of Africa, Africa does not need General Tommy Franks and General Meyers. If you cannot send us Marshall, send us General Motors and General Electrics. If  you send  these latter two Generals to Africa, Africa will produce for you West Germany, Japan and Taiwan, and Africa will join the civilized world. West Germany will never let back the Nazis; Japanese will never again accept the red armies to breed in their midst; Taiwan has already pacified the communists. Well done, General Motors and General Electrics.
