Coach, thanks for your efforts and yes, we need to show the world our
outrage.  However, January 14 may be convenient to those in the DC area, but
how about the rest that are afar?  I think one of the reasons why attendance
is low with such efforts is that consideration is not given to those that do
not live near, and those in the locale do not generally attend.  You will
agree that most that attend tend to come from afar.  So, is January 14 set
in stone?  Is the goal to do something now with low attendance, as opposed
to coordinating with other groups and make the effort worthwhile?  Unlike
Gambia, where most of the journalist live in the same area, we are all
spread out and some have already taken vacations and so January 14 may be a
problem.  Have you guys considered February 18 among other dates?  Two weeks
is a long time, that is if you live in DC and can walk to the event.  Just a
thought.
