This may be of interest to some:

Those who have children/relatives/friends that are either sophomores or juniors majoring in the social sciences, humanities, communications, biological sciences, physical sciences, and engineering, with a cumulative GPA of 2.7, may be interested in applying to the Summer Research Opportunity Program (SROP) held at Northwestern.

Each student chosen to participate in the SROP will receive a stipend of $4000; in addition, $500 will be available to provide each participant with research supplies.

The Graduate School will cover expenses for travel to and from the Northwestern Campus for SROP participants at the beginning and end of the program. Additionally, The Graduate School can provide University housing and meals for a limited number of SROP participants. If you are interested in the housing provided by The Graduate School, please notify Mario Craigen; otherwise participants are responsible for their living expenses and incidental costs during the summer.
