here we have another ploy of the jammeh regime, trying hard to muscle the private media after given them handout in the formed of Ramadan gifts. Though we criticized the Independent press for accepting those items from a leader who stole everything from the poor citizens of the land.

Jammeh always have buffoons in doing dirty jobs for him when ever the needs arise. SOS Amadou Janneh and SOS Hydara, his two SOS's will do everything in cutting the media practitioners in pieces while playing cool in front of them, these two are vermin's in reality.

These pseudo intellectuals will do everything to destroyed the country, just to hold on their highly popularize job with a fancy car. Where is their consciousness? An ill-informed society can never  develop in the absent of private journalist using the sharpness of their pen and a paper. If those serving the regime believes in press freedom, its time for them to show their total disregards to the regime and its draconian legislations.

If they can not convince Jammeh, let them relinquished their position for the sake of maintaining principality of press freedom in the country.
