All, below is an update to the crime against Gambia. Joe, We are just from the burial of the late Deyda Hydara. Thousands of sympathisers paid their last respects. A feeling of grief has penetrated the heart of every decent citizen of this country. Most people could not believe what had happened. They just feel that the act has gone beyond imaginable limits. No arrests have been effected so far. The reaction of the regime so far is to condemn the act and call on people to give information. The autopsy was performed today. Two bullets were removed from Deyda's body - one of them from the head. There were four people in Deyda's vehicle itself. One disembarked and the vehicle proceeded. As it proceeded it was ambushed. Apart from Deyda, one of the two other occupants also sustained a gun shot wound on her knee. They are currently at the RVH. Both are female. The incident occured at Sankung Sillah Street near the fence of the Police Maintenance Garage at Kanifing. Yesterday, 16th December The POINT celebrated its 13th birthday. It was founded on 16th December 1991. I'll keep you posted as and when the need arises. いいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいい To unsubscribe/subscribe or view archives of postings, go to the Gambia-L Web interface at: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/gambia-l.html To Search in the Gambia-L archives, go to: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/CGI/wa.exe?S1=gambia-l To contact the List Management, please send an e-mail to: [log in to unmask] いいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいいい
