Mr. Sanneh:

Hopefully no one has to be.  We all have the tendency of talking tough talks when confronted by issues such as this one we are facing.  But the sad thing ofcourse is the lack of commitment from even those who sound tough to save our dear country from such a mess.

Ofcourse several children met their ends two years ago; ofcourse several other children still remain in serious conditions even as we still exchange these views.  But two years after these atrocities against our own brothers, who among us can say, had gave a dime, made a phone call to these guys or their families, or even shed a tear for the agony they had endured?  I guess a few or none.

Talk is cheap ladies and gentlemen; it is about time we take a serious look at what our message to the people was and what has that lead us.  We have to stop echoing these "any means necessary" sentiments and come up with real plans.  And these plans must be comprehensive.  Engage the very people who are carrying out such acts of violence against us.  They are your brothers, my cousins, your former classmates, and so on.  Let us talk to them, one-on-one.  We are all one family, tell them it does not have to be this way.  We can achieve this by having a strong representation in the country.  You cannot be thousands of miles away from the Gambia trying to manage what is on the ground and expect it to go right.  It is the same as demanding the change of our country's leadership by any means necessary while you are many miles away.  So to those interested  in real changes, let us get up and be counted.  Let us put our dollar, our euro, our krona, our pound, our skills, our abilities to where our mouth is to save this lovely nation.

>government and the mad "kankurang" or "Ifan Bondi" that is on the lose
>killing people. Jammeh must be overthrown. He must be gone in order to build
>a better Gambia. My conciousness tells me that you cannot be speaking Yoruba

>speaking the same language. logic and all reasons would dictate that a

>Jammeh and APRC only knows one language, and that is the language of
>violence. So we, The Gambians must speak his language by bringing to him or
>talking to him his language.
>Jammeh is in power by the help of Gambia's own academic and/or intelectuall

>will win back what truely belong to us and that is FREEDOM OF SPEECH of

>the total and final destruction of Jammeh and his gang of Criminals like FJC

>Those who can paint, paint about the images of crime commited against our

>Demand what is yours by taking part in demonstrations, because young heros

>Have something to live for so that you have something to die for. Once again
>no regrets, I said it before and am saying it again, Jammeh and all his mad
