PAP SAINE MUST BE RELEASE FORTHWITH.

Binneh Minteh is back again knocking on the doors of President Yaya Jammeh to find out why PAP SAINE should be arrested and detained for unjust reasons. It is very important at these crucial times, to use experience and voice to give visibility to pressing issues, search for cooperative issues to problems, bring together our divided community, and promote policy reform and a concrete action by government and the private sector.

Mr. President, it is not ideal to embark on further arrestations, detentions and torture of citizens. We must create a stronger support and protection of democracy and fully participate in the protection of press freedom, which is not only a constitutional right, but also a fundamental human right. This is the time to foster democracy and build accountability by promoting open and a transparent interaction and communication between government leaders, the press and citizens.

Mr. President, PAP SAINE like any other citizen has the right to monitor government performance, foster public discussion of government proposed legislation and be further more critical about such legislations. To this effect we urge you to release PAP SAINE as soon as possible. We should all be guided by a fundamental commitment to human rights, the rule of law, press freedom and the alleviation of human suffering.

Today PAP SAINE’S arrestation  and detention has been filed in many cubicles and avenues of the civilized world by International human rights watch dogs and organizations, that seek to prevent and resolve conflicts and enhance freedom and democracy across all continents. We are therefore urging you to release Mr. Saine forthwith to go about his business. Mr. President, you shall be held accountable for any kind of suffering inflicted upon Mr. Saine.
