Baaaassssss

do not pick on our Badibunka cousins , we have some indo paks here in the US that are refusing to start fating till they see the moon even if that means thursday  > Interesting how they would not hesitate to have the Eid the same day with the majority !! Laugh

what kills me is that they are the same folks who would stress the EXACT time to pary to the second and to break the fast according to the astronomical calculations at sunset exatctly as published in the ews papers and yet when it comes to start the ramadan they find all sorts of excuses to gain some extra days !!!

Yes Ramadan is here and We could testify to that with the eclipse of the new moon yesterday

Hope we all forgive each other on this special month and may it be easy on those who are ill and old. I encourage you all to Please remember to send you " murri  Korr' back home instead of spending it here as it is much more  needed at home . the earlier you send it the better . It also has a dual benefit . You help your extended families in Banjul or the provinces  and  you get the double blessings  at the same time.  Sugar , rice and any sort food items are encouraged not cash . There some folks that do such services if you arrange it that way  . $200 worth of food can feed a whole village for a couple of days easily . Pick any village and send it to their local mosque ( or even churches ) as charity is for all religious denominations.

Zakat fitr is like a tax that has to be paid befor the end of the month

Wasalaam
