Fanon cried

And we cry with him

Beware O’ oppressor of the innocent

Beware you who assume omnipotence

and drunk with pride

strutting

arrogance

ignorance

mindlessly stomping

with bloodstained boots

on the mangled limbs

of the innocent.

Beware!!

O slimy despotism

for this is the day

of truth

the spirit

of resistance

has come of age

And woe betide

the oppressor and oppression!

Beware!!

Fanon cried

for we who love the truth see your lies

we see through

the lies through

your pretense

at fearless tigritude

we see how

you tremble

like a little mouse

trapped

in the jaws

of justice

we know all your bravado

is a sign of panic!

Beware!!

Fanon cried

you chicken-hearted tyranny

for the day of triumph is nigh

and soon

shall the shroud be pulled

over the decadent corpse of despotism!
