By Akaleke, our Banjul Correspondent In a news cast this morning, the Gambia Radio announces that, “the republic of Taiwan has bought a presidential carrier for the Jammeh administration; this was gear towards more bilateral relationship”. The jet landed at the Banjul International Airport yesterday from Taiwan according to the cast. But according to highly place sources from the state house president Jammeh bought the jet for personal use and now he is using Taiwan to cover himself from the public as people would wonder how can he bought a jet. The said presidential carrier is said to be a modern one, which is well equipped, and is safer. The jet is also equipped with a VIP room for dignitaries. Jammeh’s trip to Taiwan was to use the Gambia for his personal gains as he uses the economic situation of the Gambia to get money from the Taiwanese government. “After securing millions of Dollars he instead went and bought a private jet” a source hinted President Jammeh is using the public funds to live in a flamboyant live style, as he is fun of personalizing all state own properties and powers. Amidst the missing D800,000,000 at the central bank and the fragile economic of the country “the president is not thinking of the welfare of the needy Gambian but concentrates on enriching himself” said a concern citizen. It is widely believe that Jammeh will now be the most travelling head of state in the world. __________________________________ Yahoo!
