Yes, the decrease in infant mortality has been at a steady rate over the
years but no significant jump has been registered as one would expect with
supposed improvement of the doctor to patient ratio. The point I was
trying to make is that increasing the number of doctors (from Cuba) does
not necessarily translate into improved health condition as indicated by
the markers, when all the other complimentary sectors are in virtual
ruins.
