Dear The Global Democracy Project,

At my family's Thanksgiving, we spend a few minutes before dinner talking about what we're thankful for. And we offer prayers for those around the world most in need and most in peril.
Please join my family next week as we include the people of Darfur in our Thanksgiving. All you have to do is take a minute to talk about the genocide in Darfur and hand out our petition urging President-elect Obama to make Darfur a Day One priority.

Can you make the people of Darfur part of your Thanksgiving?
Yes! I will help spread the word.
Sorry, I'm unable to do it this time.

This is a critical moment. A new administration means the possibility of a fresh start and the chance to end the violence. We can't let this opportunity get away.
That's why we're bringing together one million voices for Darfur before the end of Obama's first 100 days. And that's why we need you to take our urgent call to the Thanksgiving table.

If you're unsure of what to say, don't worry—we'll also provide a Darfur fact sheet that will give you all the information you need.
Can you include the people of Darfur in your Thanksgiving?
Yes! I will help.
Sorry, I'm unable to at this time.

Thank you for all of your hard work. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at the Save Darfur Coalition.
Best regards,
Allyn Brooks-LaSure
