I appreciate your anxiety and I am similarly chagrined. I offer a revolutionary idea to curtail religious conflict: No Organised Religion. No Churches, Mosques, or Synagogues outside of one's home. No more classifying Religious enterprises as Not-for-Profit philanthropies. Religious Evangelism is the Sales department of Religious outfits. They must be classified the world over as for-profit ventures and must be regulated like the nuclear industry and be taxed just like other manufacturing businesses.
 
I understand the idea can be "VIEWED" as controversial and heretic at first audition, however, I encourage more sober and thorough study of it. It comes from a comprehensive study and review of human malaise and the prior world wars. I declare that if we do not take heed, World War III, like the other world wars, will have the signature of Organised Religion like Slavery, Colonization, and Terrorism. 
 
Forgive any affront or discomfort. That is not the intent. Human and global health is the intent.
Haruna. I look forward to alternate views. Organised Religion does have some intrinsic values. It is those values that we must harness and de-emphasize the evangelistic value, if possible, do away with that aspect. I, like other humans, get my spiritual message from God/Allah/Yahweh/Buddha/etcetera. I do not wish to receive messengers from the church, mosque, synagogue, or temples. MQJGDT. Darbo. Al Mu'Umin.

Yes they are to back to it again senselessly killing each other at the city of Jos Nigeria. Over what ? Elections ! Very sad when people cannot settle their difference without some bloodletting.The riots in  2001 and 2004, dead tolls were 1000 and 700 respectively. According to the Associated Press , mobs burned homes , churches and mosques and dead toll rose to more than 400 . When will peace and tranquility prevail in Africa? We cannot import freedom and peace from anywhere but we have work hard to achieve it .Let bye gone be bye gone is the only to achieve it period ! Enough already!
