Galleh, as much as I admire you, I ain't lettin' you go just yet without some more effort at persuading you. Hear me out. I will try not to say everything in public.

Haruna,
Let me say head on that as far as supporting the AU is concerned, I will beg to be excused.] Galleh.

But Galleh I am not pleading with you nor do I desire you to support the AU. Remember both you and I acknowledge the hypocrisy of the AU as a collective organ. And their pronouncement is the veritable hypocrisy manifest. However, in suspending La Guinea participation in the affairs of the AU, they surreptitiously excuse La Guinea from partaking of the very same hypocrisy therefore. That, it turns out, is good for the people of La Guinea.

[I believe that the AU does not have the moral authroity to censor anyone, not least unconstitutional governments. Who are members of the AU but largely unconstitutional regimes? True there are a few very notable exceptions. Otherwise, the ranks of the AU are filled with regimes as bad or even worse than a military regime.] Galleh.

Galleh, consider then that while the AU DOES NOT HAVE the moral authority to censor anyone, it DOES NOT therefore have the gravitasse to coerce anyone into its HYPOCRISY. For all the reasons you state so eloquently.

[I can only lend my support - however insiginificant this may be - to an organization that is sincere in upholding the principles and ideals for which it was created. I do not support any form of unconstitutional regime; neither would I support any fake shows of indignation by any member of the international community. So with all due respect Haruna, I'm afraid you might have to do without me on that particular one. Thanks for all the great jobs.] Galleh.

Might I then interest you in supporting The GDP and the people of La Guinea?? I hope you say Yes. Or I will be effectively ashamed and therefore near-maligned.
As they say over here at the varsity hamburger joint next to my alma mata, "what'll you have?". Galleh, what'll it be? Haruna. Evian, I don't wanna hear it. I'm trying to charm Galleh here. For if we need a voice now, it'll be Galleh's. Remember, if you shame me again, you'll still hear from me. I don't give up easy. So if you don't want your mailboxes imposed upon by carburant Haruna, I suggest you help me sometime. That's all I have to say for now. The next onslaught maybe your private mailboxes. And don't send me to your junk mail box. I have a trick for that too. I'm not threatening. I'm just sayin'. Darbo. MQJGDT. Al hoping Galleh agrees to work with me in saving La Guinea from the hypocrites.

I agree entirely with you Galleh.

I do have a proposition for you, I wonder if you will work with me on this:

Join me in supporting the AU and see their isolation of the carburant Camara for whatever its worth. I also encourage you to work with me in encouraging the people of La GUinea and opposition stakeholders in demanding earlier legislative and presidential elections in La Guinea than 2010. We will talk later. I am of the same view as you regarding the spectacular hypocrisy partout. I comfort you that the hypocrite is unintelligent.

I look forward to your company in these and many more demarches in the immediate future.

Haruna.

Ostensibly, the AU is protesting unconstitutional governance represented by military rule. I'd say unconstitutional governance is what obtains in many AU member states, even though their heads are supposedly civilians. The concept of unconstitutionality should also be legitimately applied to civilian regimes that have no respect for constitutional provisions, human rights and the rule of law, or that change their constitutions at will to accomodate the greedy wishes of their civilian despots. If the current military regime in Guinea deserves suspension, so does Zimbabwe, Gambia, Togo and all those other countries where constitutions are being prostituted to the highest bidder. As things stand, many African heads of state are trembling on their seats for fear of a coup in their countries. It is amazing how the international community sits quietly by watching despots create conditions for military coups and other cvil crises and then suddenly start making threatening noises when they happen. Militray rule certainly = unconstitutional rule. But is civilian rule = constitutional rule? The hypocrisy of international politics is simply sickening. Thanks for sharing Haruna.

Guinée
L’Union africaine suspend la Guinée après le coup d’Etat militaire à Conakry
The African Union suspends La Guinea after the military imposed itself on Conakry.

(Afp)
