I see the light in both myself and others... I encourage others to believe in themselves and to recognize the light and love that shines in their own hearts so that they and myself can glow even more brightly in the world!! WE should be letting our light shine in the world. And we should never allow ourselves to put out the light or take away power from another human being. So often we negate the feelings and potency of others when we step in to fight their battles, interfere in their lives and seek to dominate and control. But this is not the action of love... but of fear! If we are loving we stand beside people, giving them a belief in themselves so that that they can stand up for themselves, be confident, be free. A good friend is someone who stands next to someone to show them 100 per cent support but lets them gain control and power over their own life. Watch the action of partners...how often do they try to choose friends for their partner, tell them how they should be running their life or criticizing them for keeping company with certain people? This is all control. And it stifles freedom If we love someone... really love someone... we want them to be free. We want them to be with us because they really want to be with us... because they are free to be with us. Right? If we want somebody to be our friend and we love them as a friend.. we want them to be free. We want them to spend time with us as a friend because they really want to be with us... because they are free to be with us and have chosen to be our friend. Right? The most important gift we can give other people in our lives is to give them a belief in themselves... to show them that we support them in their lives... that we are 100 per cent behind them in their good and free decisions. If we encourage others... allow others.. to live in their light we know they will behave wonderfully and to the best of their ability. If we try to control people, give them negative suggestions, bring them down to our own level then we are enticing them to behave less wonderfully, to rebel, lash out and fight. See the light in all the people you meet and encourage them to live the highest vision of themselves. Always tell people just how much you love the light you see in them. This encourages them to see it and then to live it! Tell people how beautiful, how lovely they are. Focus on their good qualities, their compassion and their live. And they will see that this an area of themselves that you like and they will start to like it even more themselves and act in that way in even more. What is focused on expands... not only in ourselves but also in others. So allow yourself to shine even more by allowing others to shine more too! So dear and special friend.. I see the beauty and goodness in you.. I celebrate our oneness... and I want you to know just how much I treasure you as my friend and how much I love you for being YOU!!!
