I would not make any sweeping statement about chickens being slaughtered in 
a non-Muslim country because I believe it is insignificant in this day.  Why live 
in those non-Muslim countries then?

Denmark is one of the leading exporters of chicken and other diary products to 
Muslim countries and of course the halal meat is controlled and stamped as 
halal. I believe Holland has the same mechanisms.
