Momodou, i am not generaslisng seriously. What i was trying to relay is the fact that, if the importers don't follow the due procedures, we can end up having haram chicken in our supermarkets, we cannot rely on the words of the exporters alone. In the U.K there are many fake halal meats arround. In fact that as result in the creation of the halal monitoring council. anyway good to let me clarify. halal meats are said to be more expensive than non-halal meat. don't read about expired foods in some shops?

I would not make any sweeping statement about chickens being slaughtered in
a non-Muslim country because I believe it is insignificant in this day. Why
live
in those non-Muslim countries then?

Denmark is one of the leading exporters of chicken and other diary products to
Muslim countries and of course the halal meat is controlled and stamped as
halal. I believe Holland has the same mechanisms.
