Note: This is a poem of tribute to my humble comrades, namely Demba, Lamma,
and Solo. It is extended in tribute to all our well wishers and contributing
guests. I think a moment to pay tribute is worth the time. We must begin to
appreciate ourselves and those around us. With it, we can extend the message
of love and unity that others may emulate.

*Gainako*
*Soon to be an echo aloud
the mooo from the humble cow
with sharpened horns as spears
defending the territorial boundaries
while holding a national flag
belonging to all with clear conscience
fighting for the oppressed
the ordinary and the enslaved.

Soon to be an echo aloud* *guardianship and independence* *with Demba and
Lamma holding the flag
while Solo supporting its base
and little Dalton holding the touchlight
creating desenting rays of light
in all directions of the globe
healing the hearts, healing.

Soon to be an echo aloud
shame to those befooled enemies
with hearts full of jealousy and hate
and shame to the tyrants as well
with hearts full of evil thoughts
come rain, come shine
we will prevail with our flag high* *guardianship and independence.

Soon to be an echo aloud
In God we trust
and with Him, we will prevail
as that brand of choice
among the many at struggle
only as a true complement
to those on true struggle
so we fall and rise.

In God we trust
So shall we prevail.
