Brother Haruna,
Your prospective change of heart on Gunjur would not absolve you from Nuremberg, given your share of knowledge in Yaya's scheme of poisoning us. I suppose even the fascist courts Gambia-types would find you guilty given your complicity, and their perfection in the practice of constitutional mockery.
You ask what would I do if I were in Halifa's shoes? Forget about Halifa for minutes, and let's review the crime of degeneracy. Where in our laws was witchcraft a crime? Except when we all do not see as a perversion of decency, anyone that stood the tide must be commended, least condemned for the act. When I say we I mean you and I, excluding your obvious "jesters" or squatters who argued in our respectable policy making house that witchcraft was a crime because it was in the English dictionary. Gambians must start asking for refund from some of our representatives for mis- or non-representation.
Should any serious question be asked, it must be around the illegality of this practice of perversion, and not the opposite. To amass so many substitute for a thing so simply and plain, or implicitly question any form of opposition to the degeneracy simply suggest a new low in our national odyssey, and that is frightening indeed.
Malang Darbo.
