Yanks, this episoud in England shows how self-interest is inherent in each and every human being. This is why we should be careful in over praising politicians. Some among the guilty British politicians are serious and caring people yet, they could not but take advantage of a loose system.I was surprised to find the like of Saed Malick, Cliare Short, who are staunch human rights advocats all found wanting in the saga.

MY MP AND MY TAX MONEY!
It is unbelievable what our MPs have been up to with our tax money. Months ago we were shocked by the "mouth watering bonus arrangements" of our greedy bankers now it's the "bogus expense claims of our MPs". Tell me what is happening to the British society?

The Westminster palace, which prides itself as the mother of all parliaments has been rocked by corruption. I wonder what Mugabe and Yahya Jammeh would make of it? Our honourable ladies and gentlements of the British society have shamed their constituents and shamed British politics.

The big question now is what can these folks do to put their house together and regain the trust of their electorates? They have created this image of "MY MP AND MY TAX MONEY", thanks to the media. Can anybody believe that our MPs again are at Westminster to represent our interest rather than their own interest? Whatever their response to this; it will be hard for them to convince anyone that they are there for the interest of their constituents.

Our honourable MPs have shamed us. But the worst would be what others are suggesting, prosecution. I think the MPs have been prosecuted enough by the Media. They should only be asked to repay our taxes back and fix their rules. Their future expenses need to be opened to public scrutiny. After all the electorates are their bosses.

If anything to learn from this saga is that there is nothing like a honourable member of parliament.

Yanks
