Death, that great usurper has coldly reminded us yet again of our
immortality.  It has snatched away another great child of the Gambia and
Africa.  Dr Lenrie Peters, Surgeon extraordinaire, writer and poet,
gustodian of the myth of Kachikali has joined the ancestors.  May the Mercy
of the Lord be bestowed on his soul and may we long be blessed by his types
in the struggle towards a nation and continent we shall forever be proud of.
