What're you guys talking about? Is this how Suntou decided to pony up the 100 Dinars in lieu of Jaawula? I don't even know why he boxed himself up into an unnecessary corner like that? All in an effort to sabotage my contest of the Presidency of the Republic of The Gambia? What length some people would go to keep Haruna out of the loop is amazing to me.

Njok, it's a go on the wonjo party after I announce my candidacy, an event which cannot be usurped by anyone. And I mean no-one. Bilal is already with me. FOrgive me JDAM if Suntou did not forward this on my behalf. Galleh you're most welcome. Nyoko bokah. Pending our verification of where the funds came from. If this is not from Suntou, we will be expecting him to transfer his losses to JDAM immediately. Please help me hold his feet to the fire. He must produce Jaawula. This is not about me Father Mose. It is about those among us who promise what they know good and well they cannot deliver. If Suntou gets away with this, you or Mams or Nyamorkono could be next to be taken for a ride. WHy do you think "Gambians" continue to vote for Yahya? He keeps getting away with unfulfilled promises or lies. Nobody lies to yours truly. Everybody please help me yield the Chief Manneh family another contribution should JDAM affirm that Suntou was not the source of this fund. We will find out who is later, and why, without informing me. I hope I don't have a friggin secret admirer in the UK. Get away from me! That was my silly=2
0cousin insinuating that it might be Carnegie Minerals Plc. or the Commonwealth Development Corporation. I know they're idiots but they're not that crazy. God I hope this is not STGDP fucking with me.
People please help me get to the bottom of this.Haruna.

LJD, acknowledged receipt.  Haruna is interesting and amusing, only that I cannot catchup with his avalanche of mails but will try and improve my work rate :-).
So lets round it up to £65 in lieu that Haruna will buy me a drink sometime-somewhere.

Baba, I agree with Kajau.  Let Jeng collect from the UK (if that is acceptable by Jeng) and we can later discuss where the monies should be forwarded to (US or Gambia).

No Mr. Jeng. You might have to mail to the US should you wish to donate.

Fellow Gambians and Friends of The Gambia,

The GPU-USA is issuing another call for contributions to help support the family of disappeared journalist Chief Ebrima Manneh. Since we issued the first call over two weeks ago, we have only received a contribution of $50 from one individual. This is rather disheartening considering the outpouring of outrage and sympathy over Chief Manneh's disappearance in the hands of the Jammeh dictatorship. The GPU-USA has already sent the family $500, which is enough to keep them going for at least three months. See below for an update on those funds from GPU-Gambia Chairperson Ndey Tapha Sosseh. A small amount can go a long way in alleviating the suffering of this family. We are therefore renewing our call for contributrions, however small, to enable us to keep helping this family. No amount is too small - 5, 10, 20 dollars - whatever you can contribute. Please write out your checks to our able treasurer Joseph Sambou and mail to him at 8046 South Kimbark Avenue, Chicago, IL 60619. We wish to ask those who have already pledged to please mail in their checks.
 Thank you all.

Baba G. Jallow

Secretary General

GPU-USA

(Below is the text of the email from GPU-Gambia)

Baba,

I've received the money (D12,858)and have informed the rest of the gpu executive and advisors.  We will be calling the Manneh family to make an appt for midweek.

As discussed yesterday, we have agreed to spend the money as follows

Condiments

4 bags Rice @ 850 = 3400

2 20 Ltr Drums Cooking Oil @ 750 = D1500

2 Bags Sugar D350 = D700

1 Bag Onions = D300

Total = D5900

Cash for Father = D1500

Cash for Mother = D1000

Grand Total = 8400

The remaining 4458 will be topped up to 5000 by me and given to them in two monthly installments of D2500.

We'll also make sure that it gets adequate coverage.

Ndey Tapha
