Thanks for sharing.

You know, I did not know Juwara had been an all rounder. He is surely good at forging links, but I'm not sure about his excellence in maintaining these links.

Lets hope he last long with the APRC for his own sake. An unwelcome termination of his link with the APRC could have dire consequences for his safety.

These are my answers to your 3 questions

Q1- The post title Governor is just a replacement for the post of Commissioner.

Q2- From my observation, Waa is currently unsure as to which political side he belongs. One thing for certain is that Waa appears to be the only politician in Gambian History to have forged links with 6 Political Parties- They are APRC, UDP, GPP, NADD, NDAM, NCP

Q3- Waa is currently on probation within the APRC Hierarchy. At first, he was a nominated Councillor for Western Division, now he is "promoted' to the post of Divisional Governor. If Waa "performs" well in the LRD then he will be assured of the post of Minister of Local Government and Lands and APRC National Mobliser.

With this IN mind, I am appealing to Waa to comply with the tenets of the 1997 Constitution and resign as leader of NDAM. The 1997 Consitution prohibits Civil Servants to occupy any posts within of a Political Party.  Being a Governor of LRD which is a Civil Servant post disqualifies him to continue as leader of NDAM.

Just a thought, no hard feelings

Senegambianews is reporting Juwara's appointment or promotion to the position
of provincial governor.

First i must admit, what tha hell is a provincial governor? Is it above the commissioner
of the division or is it the same as the commisioner and if so what have they done to
the commisioners.

Second, what on earth is Juwara's game plan, according to the same report, he still
heads his opposition party, but against who; I ask. The government he praises and part of.

Or is he intending on staging an internal coup from inside APRC by rising through their
ranks until he could become President Juwara, the successor of his one time arch rival Yahya
Jammeh?

They said never say never and i add, never under estimate the lion of Niamina Dankunku.
