Jai,

What i see in the Gambia today is a vicious assault on the population. The magnitude and the frequency of these senseless attacks leaves everyone both within and outside the media fraternity hurt. Out very existence is being undermined in our very own eyes. We own to people and to our very selves all we can to bring about the desired changed.

The arrest of Sam Sarre is particularly troubling to me. Sam is not a man of turmoil, does not subscribe to any kind of unrest whatsoever. Here is a man who offered Maths, Physics and even chemistry classes for free to those who cannot afford. I attend maths classes with him for free for 2 years. His demeanor is exceeingly peaceful. His arrest breaks my heart. It simply shows yaya's violence spares no one. I am very very angry.
