Haruna,] pancmbai

Yes panky.

[Thanks for releasing the long awaited GMC executive list.] Panky.

What I shared was a publication of Senegambianews.com which is a publicly accessible e-newspaper. The list contained in the publication is NOT the "LONG-AWAITED" GMC Executive List. It is however the list of GMC - SENEGAL BRANCH EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE. There is a significant difference.

[Why is Mai's name missing on the executive list?] Panky.

Your guess is as good as mine Panky. If it is a list of GMC - Senegal Branch Executive, and the Right Hon. Mai N. K. Fatty is the Chairman of The GMC party, perhaps we could forgive the party branch's oversight if they do not include the party chairman in their executive committee, couldn't we??? They excluded the National Party Chairman from their list!!! That is preposterous Panky.

[Are you a member of the GMC?] Panky.

I will reserve answer for this question pending your introduction to us here at Ell en. I still don't know who you are. I have a hunch but for the abundance of caution identity theft, I yield for now on this score.

[How come you are privy to all these info about the GMC?] Panky.

What're you mumbling in your moustache??? I'm privy to the same info you're privy to. At senegambianews.com. I guess that makes two of us. Later. Haruna.

and inspirations to form themselves into the pioneer diaspora branch of the GMC party. I wish them the best of grassroots value campaigns and they have my support and spirited comraderie. I encourage all Gambians who have not chosen belonging to a party to accord the GMC some consideration. God speed and fare ye well! La mer n'est plus bleu pour nous. It is a rainbow of colours.

The Executive Committee Members are:
1. Miss Nanding Sawaneh...........................Mobiliser (resident at Pikine)
2. Mr. Wandifa Sanneh..............................Secretary General (Thiaroye)
3. Mr. Musa Jallow.....................................Treasurer (Thies)
4. Mr. Buramanding Fofana........................Member (Malika)
5. Mr. Ebrima Gaye.....................................Member (Kaolack)

Harun a. Every efficient campaign begins with clear commitment and due-diligent discernment. The party rank and file choose and make their leader. Not the other way round. Ignore detractors, they are aplenty.

GMC leader Mai Fatty met foreign diplomats in Dakar, Senegal
Press Release | GMC, July 10, 2009
The Gambia Moral Congress, Senegal Chapter is Born
After consultations among ourselves concerning the need to take active part in the public affairs of our beloved motherland, The Gambia, a number of us Gambians resident in Senegal resolved to confer our unflinching support to The Gambia Moral Congress and it’s leader.
The meeting took place yesterday at 6 pm at the residence of Wandifa Sanneh at Thiaroye culminating in the election of the Executive=2 0Committee (GMC Senegal Branch). As Gambian citizens, no matter our places of residence, our country is very close to our hearts.
Our full confidence in Mr. Mai Fatty as a leader inspired us to stand up to join his call for the liberation of our country from oppression and exploitation. We are realists and practical, accepting that a leader is made by the people behind him, and thus we are not looking for an angel or perfection. We acknowledge that if Mr. Fatty becomes a bad leader, it would be because the Membership allowed him to be, and we are sure of his sincerity beyond a shadow of doubt. We are satisfied that Mr. Mai Fatty meets our criteria for Leadership, and we fully support the Manifesto of GMC. We are willing and ready to support GMC in the decisions the leadership would make concerning the future of our country, including if our Leader considers joining a coalition to remove the regime of Yaya Jammeh. We would not be derailed in our conviction, and we call on other Gambians to join us in our support for GMC which we know belongs to Gambian peoples and NOT the person of our Party Leader Mr. Mai Fatty. The call to serve our country is very noble and we associate ourselves with all of the local and international efforts of our Party Leader in this respect.
