Right right BambaLaye, busy applauding and scrambling for the crumbs falling from the Fat Kanilai Table so they wouldn't have time to see or think about our sinking ship of state. I bet Jammeh spends many precious minutes admiring his chosen face in the mirror everyday. How sad that ugly people never realize that they are ugly. Talk about large and tender egos!!

I wonder what he's been doing the past 14 years? Haruna, let's amke a pledge for anyone who can make a full list of SHEPAD's "direct" victims since July 1994. Whadaya say? Categories : Killed, Disappeared, and Jailed....any ither you can think of? If we want to include those sacked, the burden will be humongus on entrants cuz the list will be endless depending on how many times some are recycled. Exiled lst cannot be easily verified so I keepp that one out too..
What say ye?

Gambia: President Jammeh Pledges D250,000 for APRC Projects Identifications

Amadou Jallow

10 July 2009

The president of The Republic, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh, has announced another pledge of two hundred and fifty thousand dalasis (D250, 000) for anyone who can list all the development projects that were implemented by the APRC government from 1994 to date.
The president made this pledge yesterday, at the Cabinet Room at State House in Banjul shortly after the voting of Juma K Camara as the winner of the July 22nd Revolution anthem competition. "The revolution anthem competition is the first, but might not be the last. What I want is another competition for anyone who can list all the developments of the APRC government projects from 1994 to date," the president said.
According to the president, all contributors should submit their lists by Thursday 16th July and latest on July 17th and they should be addressed to the secretary to the Cabinet at State House. Gambians and non-Gambians, the president said, are encouraged to participate.
In his final statement, the Gambians leader announced at the gathering that there will be many competitions for this year, some of which will be for the Senior and Junior Secondary schools. "I really want to keep everyone busy this year," he concluded.
