Following the defence closing remarks, today, Justice Fagbenle of the High Court adjourned sittings to Wednesday for judgment.

Representing five of the six accused, Lawyer Lamin Camara is said to have addressed the court for almost three hours. Sam Sarr, editor Foroyaa representing himself spoke for two hours and made emphasis on President Jammeh's statement, the right of reply and the media's oversight role as catered for by the Gambian Constitution of 1997.

DPP Dhenge was said to have found it difficult to respond to points of law raised by the defence and had to be cut short many times by Justice Fagbenle.
