Juan C., did I hear you say "Dadis go back to barracks"???? What Barracks???? And where. Surely not any within La-Guinea??? The man needs to be arrested along with the entire Presidential guard. The crime of high treason has been committed against La-Guinea and you want the criminals to go back to barracks????? I think you meant "Dadis should resign before turning himself and his guards in". I think you made a mistake.

 

FWIW, Dadis' CNDD partners are resigning left and right.

It is really funny how Dadis wants Blaise Compaore to decide his fate. That one truly struck my good health. If history is true as narated to us, Balise's own hands are tainted with the blood of Captain Thomas Sankara.
 
Dadis should go back to the barracks without delay. It looks like he is buying too much time under the leadership cradle.
 
He shouldn't have to wait to "bow down to pressure", but rather should recognize that Africans everywhere are disowning military so-called governments and dictators. If Dadis is seeing Yaya and Blaise's fat cheeks, for sure, he must be greatly inspired by the duo and their ilks. It is my firm believe that military leaders only hide their uniforms in the closet with a thin curtain. Once they justify victory in elections, then they just wear the uniform back. Mine is not out of respect for for those with military backgrounds -very noble professions deserving great respect.

Guinea's leader misses deadline

Capt Camara (Left) wants Burkina Faso's leader (Right) to decide his fate Guinea's military leader Capt Moussa Dadis Camara has postponed an announcement on whether he will stand in next year's presidential election. The African Union had given him until midnight on Saturday to formally promise he would not participate. Capt Camara says he wants the region's appointed mediator, Burkina Faso's leader, to decide his country's future. The crisis was triggered last month when troops opened fire on protesters, angered at rumours he intended to run. Human rights groups say some 157 people died but the junta puts the toll at 57. If he tells us that they are sticking to their guns, then sanctions will be enforced AU's Ramtane Lamamra Soldiers allegedly raped and sexually abused women during the crackdown, and the International Criminal Court (ICC) has opened an investigation into the deaths. On Saturday, the West African states - through the 15-member regional body Ecowas - imposed an arms embargo on Guinea in protest at the "atrocities". But Guinea's Foreign Minister Alexandre Cece Loua told AFP sanctions would not "solve the Guinean question". "We must seek a way to get the parties around the negotiating table," he said. Earlier this month, Mr Compaore invited all parties in the crisis to Ouagadougou for talks - but the proposal was rejected by opposition groups, who want Capt Camara to stand down first.
