Humor: The Bad Workman Quarrels with his Tools.
The bad work is in state of confusion. After he humiliated Gambian elders by falsely accusing them of being witches and wizards, the faithful has hung onto their savior as reliance. They cried to their Lord in serene silence, saying “O Lord! You know our hearts. We are neither politicians nor journalists. We are not witches or wizards either. We are merely farmers relying on our farms and animals to live on. How come we are tested this way?” The Lord imaginarily in assurance responded, “We shall bring upon them the wrath of insecurity. They shall fight among themselves. We will reduce them to the lowest of the low. Haven’t you seen how we dealt with the people of the elephant? A great lesson to learn about the Pharaoh of Egypt, so be patient! ”
Before long, the show has begun. The bad workman has started quarrelling with his tools. He thinks a mallet is too long and a hammer too short; a file is too rough and sandpaper too soft; a nail is too long and a screw is too short; etc…The bad workman will look at a mallet, reduce it to a hammer before trashing it to the dust bin. He would take a nail, reduce it to a screw and tell the screw you are “useless.”
The show is such that the bad workman is engulfed in the wrath of sins that he cannot make sense of his absolute stupidity and surrounding. By acting so mentally retarded, with the help of his inferior complexity and poor instinct, he thinks he is becoming a “Pan-Africanist” or some peace maker.
