What're you talking about Ndokeh? If Freedom is in financial trouble, I'm red to go. If its any consolation, the Press is part of the quadratic equation The GOLD Fund addresses. I know it is not readily apparent yet but I hear you bro. I am actually looking forward to a luncheon with you toward Christmas as I make my way through the Eastern seaboard. My friends from Bosnia Samir and Sabo say Hello. I just learned that contrary to perceptions by many, Bosnians a good number of Herzegovinans wished Yugoslavia were one (Serbia, Bosnia, Kosovo Metochia, Montenegro...etcetera) as before the partitions. The subtlety is that they do not desire the ethnic cleansing and genocide that precipitated their partitionings.

Anyway Ndokeh, Obama's election was The GDP's bailout. We hold the simpleton view that the financial waywardness was an artificial cliffhanger. They were just so certain of the yield of the design that the Madoffs never considered the reversion. We will come out of it. Naturally.

That reminds me, Karim shared some concerns with us about the land-grabbing going on for Africa's virgin jungle growth. I am aware that agricultural subsidies, at least for European farmers, is coming to an end soon. And when that happens, and you ask a rancher from Brussels to grow mutton, he's likely to tell you to go to hell and grow it yourself, or to establish a plantation on slave labour in Africa. I just hope African governments are readying themselves for devastating industrial farming later next year. I would insist on a research institute for study on green fertilizers as part of the land deals. Or at least partnership with indigenous farmers for any such investment. Whatever, they do, don't make religious affinity part of the deal-making. Religious evangelists make the most "benign" slaveholders. At least on the surface Mams.

Haruna. I love you Ndokeh.

Dear Mr. Jallow,

The Gold Fund is in receipt of your generous gift of $40.00. You are the first donor from our friends at Ellen and it is a consolidation of your commitment to Democracy and Human Rights.

Yero, I have known you to be unambiguously supportive of commoner effort and throughout our association at Ellen, I have seen you inspire many to fashion the ware of their own lives by not only focusing on their daily affects, but the affect of the ware of other's life. Sometimes we get too focused on our own considerations that we forget, ever so briefly, that in the equation of self, there is a variable called OTHER. That other can be a fellow citizen, a family member, our community or professional associate, or National figure. You have figured it out and you are the fuller for it.

From inception of the idea of The GOLD Fund to now, you have been tirelessly promoting it and have accorded it your unflinching commitment. For that I want to personally thank you and in the days and months to come, you will have inspired us once again as is your trademark.

The GOLD Fund is engaged in putting together an Advisory Board and if you will oblige, I wish to solicit your consideration to be part of this Advisory Group called The GOLD Fund Advisory Partners. The Advisory Partners will work to further develop the contours of our engagement and coordinate inter-party exchanges. It takes into account the already extraordinary demands on your time and promises to be a worthwhile partnership. You will be deliberating with nine equally committed friends who will be chosen from a wide cross-section of diasporan Africans. Should you accept this challenge, and as the partners are formed, you will be introduced to each other.

I want to personally thank you for your kindness and generousity of spirit Mr. Jallow and we look forward to an enriching partnership in The GOLD Fund.

Haruna - For The GOLD Fund.
