Thanks for the kind words. The credit goes to all those who in one way or the other contributed to help this family. With more generous support from the online community we can make a huge impact on the lives of those families who's only bread winners were taking away from them.
 
Gambians are so generous when it comes to supporting each other in times of needs and we hope to appeal to that generousity and collect more funds in the coming months. Any contribution will go a long way to help....

I am certain the Chief Manneh family are grateful to God first, and to the GPU (all financial contributors) for the helping hand extended to them. At a time when Gambia is this much hard, such financial assistance will go a long way sufficing the family for the basic food, clothing and other household needs.
 
On a note, in your next meeting, if I am able to attend, I would have succeeded in putting a case for Sister Ndey who equally might be in need of the GPU's moral support, since the pardon to the GPU six in the name of "Saliboo" was not extended to her. Though reports indicates she is in high spirit, but being in exile is something really difficult -away from home, family, friends and love ones for a sacrifice.
 
FYI, hopefully soon, we will all enjoy a revealing and true account of who Chief Manneh was.
