Thanx Yero for the update. Leave it to the alarmist VVChee to imagine problems where none exist.

"There is a perceived danger of a power vacuum in a country which only saw the back of military rule just over 10 years ago, the BBC's Will Ross reports from the city."

What danger from a power vacuum???? There is no such danger in relative calm and peace in Nigeria. I encourage President Ya'Ardua to consider announcing publicly that Goodluck acts in his stead while he recovers and should the recovery take unduly long, Nigerians should be comforted that a complete handover will be effected.

The fact that Nigeria has undergone military government a decade ago and to stir fear with that is irresponsible. Even if Nigeria had a military government yesterday has no bearing on the current Nigerian efforts for constitutional government. Because Nigerians, on their own accord, rejected military rule, for good. Accentuate the friggin positive lest some idiot gets hallucinations and nirvanna. What is wrong with the VVChee?? I think Ya'Ardua should only grant interviews to the Nigerian press from now on as he recovers. What is this

We continue to pray for Ya'Ardua's speedy recovery.
Haruna.
