Chris, my pal,

Our able mail sorter has advised me your check is already in the box to be returned to sender. I wish I could retrieve it from the box. Maybe another time. FYI, and being part of both Ellen and GPU-USA, you have the unique privilege of donating twice. You may challenge another coleague of ours here to complete your gifting here. I am so terribly sorry I could not forward the check to GPU-USA on your behalf.

What will end up at the GPU-USA is a good total of the funds we raise at Ellenecho with a list of the donors and the respective amounts donated to the CHief Manneh Family Fund. Not the individual instruments. This will streamline recordkeeping and accounting and will acknowledge the amount coleagues and friends of Ellen and thegambiaecho were able to raise. It is a pilot of future customized fundraising in niche communities.

Thank you for your gifting is half-way complete. We look forward to extorting another donation from you. This time do it right doggone it.

Haruna. You know I'm always your Pal, my erstwhile eccentricities aside.

Hi Haruna,

No.

Do not return my check, just kindly forward it to Lamin's address. It's a stamp and an envelope away from getting it to the right place. I am not going to make out a second check because the funds will ultimately get to where they need to go because you are going to be a pal and just merely forward it for me. I will pay you back in some way for your time and cost-give me time.

Thank you Haruna,

Chris

Sister Chris,

This is to acknowledge we are in receipt of a check made out to GPU-USA and marked Free Demba Baldeh. We have also received your wonderful card made out to Haruna.

We will return the check to you for onward transmission to the GPU-USA or you may replace it with one made out to the Global Democracy Project. We were not able to deposit it in our Chief Manneh Family Fund because our bank cannot process it for that account and the Ellenecho fundraising for the Chief Manneh Family remains as is. All the same we appreciate your generousity and spirit and we look forward your pledge of $25.00 for Demba's release from Ellenecho Bay when possible.

Hon. Lamin Darbo - $50.00 - Demba Free - Pledged

I think the card is lovely and the best way for me to honour the cause would be to go to their website and assist in one of the areas where such assistance is needed and valuable. I thank you for introducing me to the project for I was not aware of it prior and I think it is a wonderful cause. I will leave advertising for the cause for now, until I am able to discern value and process.

Thank you again.

I wonder what my Ndokeh Nderry has decided. Thank you JDAM for your generous pledge. I am proud of your regard for other when our community has sought your assistance before. We understand you have enormous obligations and a large family to care for but like Modou, Yero, Galleh, Chris, Coach, Suntou, Demba himself, Karim, Owens, Buharry, Giusseppe, Saiks, Olfactor, Evian, Bilal, and Saiks, you are always there to lend a hand when called upon. Even if this effort does not yield millions, the spirit and comraderie exhibited by you generous souls is inspiring enough for the rest of us. If at this time some of our friends and coleagues are not in a position to lend a hand financially, I am confident with this contagion of gracious spirits, they will be in the proper stead when we arraign Suntou.

Demba remains locked up until pledges are received and net shows his freedom.

We, at the community of Ellen and Gambiaecho have arraigned and placed our coleague and friend Demba Baldeh in our custody - The Ellenecho Bay. This was as a result of Demba's admission that he can be both biased and neutral at the same time while being an editor of the indomitable Gainako and Secretary General of the GPU-USA. Demba announces this disposition without due regard to the anxieties he caused our other coleague and friend Suntou. After numerous exchanges as to the merit of this disposition, we the Ellen and Echo communities are not able to yield closure on the seminal quandry. Indeed the tonguicoff offered no secours for the rest of us who may be afflicted with the same conflict.

Being the good sport that he is, Demba has ascended to his own arraignment here in order that we may yield arithemetic discernment of his value as biased and neutral simultaneously as Secretary General of the GPU-USA. Therefore, $20.00 placed him in confinement not to speak at the Ellen or Echo community until such time as another of our coleagues and friends determines it is valuable to have the simultaneously conflicted Demba released.

To secure Demba's continued incarceration or Freedom, que sa soit, you are encouraged to send your donation to:

The Global Democracy Project
Chief Manneh Family Fund
P.O. Box 775
Lithia Springs, GA 30122

Please mark: Demba Jail or Demba Free as you desire.

For those of our coleagues who reside outside the US and wish to participate here, please send your gifts in the form of international money orders and or bank check. We encourage you to plead with your friends and family in the US to complete your gifting for you where that is possible.

We will share a running tally with the communities from time to time or as appropriate when Demba's release becomes imminent. Until net receipts suggest Demba's release, Demba remains in our custody.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will be forwarded to the GPU-USA as Ellen and Echo's contribution to the larger effort in the Chief Manneh Family name.

Our coleagues Mr. Baba Galleh Jallow and Mr. Lamin J. Darbo may issue a moratorium at any time during the fundraiser to grant any detainee reprieve. In the event the two gentlemen are deadlocked, our coleague Mr. Yero Jallow will break the deadlock and his determination will be incontestable.

For those of our coleagues who wish to bypass this scheme and gift directly to the Chief Manneh Family Fund, we encourage you to send your donations to:

The GPU-USA
C/O Lamin Jatta
1470 Jesup Avenue
Bronx, NY 10452

Please annotate your gifting: GPU-USA Chief Manneh Family Fund

Thank you one and all and I encourage you to participate in yielding understanding on the seminal question of whether we can be both biased and neutral at the same time while we head a professional association without undue affect on our fellow citizens.

Haruna.
