Your mind is at a good place Galleh. There is no more powerful imagery that a convalescing ex-tyrant who had gone through the shrinkinator. You know what will be valuable is to get a montage of pictures of Dadis from the time he decided that he might run for presdient in elections that he and CNDD would steward to today. That was the day Dadis' transmogrification to tyrant began. I submit that before that epochal pronouncement, Dadis was well on his way to becoming one of the greatest if not the greatest President La-Guinea never had. I think the transmogrification was aided by Dadis' visit with Gaddafi. Take a look at that picture where Gaddafi was explaining how La-Guinea's transition ought to unravel with Dadis nodding his head. They don't realise that the condition of Libya offers no hope or salvation for any other people on this earth. But petro-diplomacy is young ambition's blinders.

Thanx Galleh for your lucid observations. How did Shaky Shaky put it again; ........is young ambition's ladder........ I think Solon and Shaky Shaky share the two legs of ambition's trip. The only adjustment I would make for Shaky Shaky is to drop the "young", and leave it as " .....is ambition's ladder...." I never figured out why he even qualified ambition thusly when he was surrounded by old farts like Tandja during that time. Galleh I hereby formerly task you with re-doing "Julius Caesar". This time if you could name it Panjandrum Drummahoe. Rene I don't wanna hear it. I am giving you time to read the quotation from Halifa's discrete treatise that you shared with me. AGAIN. As if I hadn't seen it the first time. Read it again and again. Until you understand it. And quit lifting statements from a marketing campaign (power-point presentation) for PDOIS-2011. I will come back later when I think you have read it enough and share with you what your problems might be. I haven't seen anybody try to squeeze lemonade out of nothing, except to decant nothing's residual value. You disappoint me Rene. I hope you can make this up to me. You have inured me acute anxiety in creating vision from Nothing when you and I ought to be working on more significant matter as we make Gambia's History. Haruna. Later.

Haruna,

Is Dadis the little man in the brown coat and dark glasses shaking hands with the unformed soldier in this photo? If he is, how so suddenly has he shrunk to near nothingness!! Reminds me of the words of the great Greek thinker/leader Solon, that "tyranny is a high place from which there is no easy way down." Thanks for sharing.

Subject: Ex-President Moussa Dadis Camara visits Mali and Selengue.
To: [log in to unmask]

We recall that current President Sekouba Konate was in Mali last week and his itinerary included a visit to the serene repose of Selengue, a verdent piece of preoperty, a veritable recluse for naturalists. Well Selengue is closer to La-Guinea than Bamako and the recuperative values of such an endowment has not escaped President Konate for his brother Dadis. If suitable, I encourage Compaore and ATT to make it a reality. The appointments at Ouaga-2000 where Dadis currently convalesces are royal and peaceful. Selengue's proximity to La-Guinea offers added value for the convalescing Dadis. The security details must be worked out first so that the marginal recuperative value of Selegue can be enhanced not just for Dadis, but for other Presidents, dignitaries, and honourable citizens. It is worth exploring. Allez! Haruna.
