Haruna,

Let us work on the factual premise that neither Islam nor Christianity permits wanton assault or violence against any person. So therefore, we should not for a moment entertain the criminal thoughts and actions of anyone disguised in religion. If a misguided or deranged person chooses to blow himself or others puportedly in the name of jihad whereas Islam teaches us that killing one innocent soul is as enormous a crime as commiting a genocide against the entire human race, then why try to tag Islam to the crime or even blame Islam? Neither Jesus nor Muhammed or any of the other holy prophets PBUT came with messages other than worship your Lord Creator and be good to your family, neighbours and strangers and stand firm against injustice.

What the world needs therefore is more adherence to the true messages of religions such as Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Rastafarianism, Hinduism etc. Less religion that you advocate for is not the answer. The State should continue to serve as a facilitator for worshippers. Is it not unambigously stated in the Holy Quran that there is no compulsion in religion and aslo for you your religion and for me mine and ultimately it is for Allah to judge?

If a blackman commits a murder, he cannot be said to have commited the crime in the name of his race as Hitler cannot be said to have exterminated over 6 million Jews in the name of neither his proclaimed Aryan race. Therefore the overwhelming Moslems and Christians of Nigeria need to reaffirm that the crimes of genocial maniacs have not been perpetrated in their names.

Therefore the hype by Ghaddaffi and others have nothing to do with Islam or Chritianity and everything to do with criminals trying to making us believe otherwise.

Cheers

Bailo

Thanx Kukeh for sharing. I will read the article later. For now, It is
spectacular to me how you nurture division between muslims and christians and
then call for a partition of a nation. This is incredible. There are muslims and
christians living side by side in many countries but no one calls for a
partition of those countries. The US, France, Turkey, Tunisia, Lebanon,
Zimbabwe, Switzerland, Iran, UK, Italy, Sweden, South Africa, India, Pakistan,
Malawi, Uganda, Mali, Egypt, Greece, Algeria, China, Russia, Australia, Hungary,
Turkmenistan, Lithuania, Georgia, Denmark, Japan, and North Korea come to mind.
The gall of some people. You reckon making Gaddafi the African King of Kings has
gone to his head. I think what Nigeria and all countries ought to refuse is
Religious Crusades couched in "AID". Preposterous. As if Nigeria is a religious
entity. If you ask me I'd say Mali and all other nations ought to think hard
about government involvement in Hajj and other religious expeditions.

Haruna.
