Coach,
I have newfound love for you today. Perhaps it is such a platform from GRTS
that you needed for us to realise your full potential. This counsel for the
opposition was well delivered and in a measured tone. You spoke the truth and it
was balanced. You did not share how the opposition should come together, which
is not your purview, but you shared nonetheless that they ought to come
together. It is left to them to fashion a way to come together if indeed
Gambia's ware is why they lead opposition parties. And the message is not only
to the leaders of the opposition parties, it is to their executive committees
because more often than not, the leaders themselves are stymied by their selfish
executive committees. They pay lipservice to coming together but they all jockey
for position and leverage and selfless considerations go out the window. We need
to take a good look at the executive committees if you ask me.
Haruna.
