Dear Bro Haruna,

I thank you for your kind words as always. Continue on the fundraising drive you started regarding the honorable Peters, for he is a true prisoner of conscience, no doubt. Is it possible that you or Kejau/Karim or anyone else can come up with a signatory petition? Let me know because time is against us.

Regards to you and bro Joe, I kindly suggest you guys put away those sharp spears just now. We have Femi to focus on. Some of these debates are a distraction to what is at stake. Please let us not loose the focus point!

Free Femi Peters now!!
Free all prisoners of conscience!!!

Down with Yaya a.j.j. jammeh!!!

Brave and much appreciated Yero. Your suggestions are very valuable and I think should be considered by anyone who wishes to join the effort to yield Femi and the opposition parties relief.

Haruna.

RE: An Open Letter to Gambians & Friends:

I first of all wanted to condemn the monster Yaya AJJ Jammeh and his mercenary judges in the strongest terms possible. I am also sending my unconditional support to the honorable Femi Peters, who over the next months will be a true “prisoner of conscience.” We’ve been tested another time, just like the years gone. How many lessons did we learn from this? I am not sure, and cannot even measure it, because we seems to be following the same footsteps with no lessons drawn from it, time and again.

Last year in April, upon return from Africa, I wrote to advise Lang Tombong Tamba to heed before he will be victimized. (http://www.gainako.com/news/articles/brigadier-tamba-must-act-now.html). I am sending the same message to current chief of Defense staff Masanneh Kinteh.
In the same month of April, I wrote “An open letter to Gambians & friends”, (http://www.gambia.dk/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7436&SearchTerms=Open,letter,to,Gambians,&,friends).

It is my observation that we won’t move an inch, if we continually behave like sea crabs, and whichever of them wants to shine to the surface, the others are on the side to pull down to the rock bottom.

This is another message I am sending to those that wisely think. Please unite! Please be vigilant! Please be wise! Please stop the political hypocrisy! Please stop the selfishness! Please stop the political division! Please stop all vicious sentiments!

Regards to Femi Feters, I suggest the following:
-Rallies should be held in Washington, London, Dakar, New York and any other country and state of this globe as time and resources permits us.
-Petition letters with collection of signatures should be circulated, asking other Governments, individuals and organizations to join the crusade against tyranny.
-A defense fund for all the political parties should be established.
-The Opposition should learn a lesson and use this as an opportunity to unite against Jammeh.
-Political Party supporters should learn to iron their differences. Amicably.
-Organizations should cement themselves together and fight as one unit.
-Our soldiers in uniform should heed to unseating Jammeh, rather than defending him

Sincerely submitted,

yj
