Wait a minute. You mean tears of joy don't you? And you meant to say He is awe-friggin-some don't you? I think Dad is talking to you. That man is not well. Leave him alone with the Nyakoi nursery bureaus. On a serious note Rene, what will it take for me to get a donation from you to the kanyibaa Kanyi Family Fund???? I missed you during the CHief Manneh campaign but I got you this time. I was thinking of sharing a "How to lay sod(grass) for a verdent lawn". Can I do that to earn $25? Please? And this call goes to everyone here on Ellen. Wont you sponsor this Do it yourself project "Sodding for a Verdent lawn". If we get 4 or 5 takers, I will share the DIY. It is valuable whether or not you have a lawn. I will share everything you need from scheduling for whether, ordering the sod, preparing the ground, proper placement of sod, and care for the first 3 weeks.
Please Rene help me out. Thanx. Do you think Galleh is ignoring my fund-drive????? This after he made me excited to launch the drive. Next time I'll think twice before relying on the poet laureate to lauch any project. He could make ammends by sponsoring this episode of sod.

Haruna. Kambians!!!! You have to cut your limbs clean off before they notice you're infirmed of limb.

Haruna,
Ok. I will take your challenge. I will try to write something that will bring you to tears. How about that?

Rene. Galleh is the master; I am behind him. He is just awful.

I don't know how you get inspired to keep churning out these masterpieces but I'd like to know. Don't you ever run out of stuff Galleh??? Not that I want you to. Mams is right, I can't compete with you for his vote. The rest I can compete with. You got a chuckhold on the bloke's heart and mind. Thank you again for the joys.

Haruna. Rene, go away. How come you can't be like Galleh??? Forget BuDois Sek for a minute will you?

I will tell you why I laugh

By Baba Galleh Jallow

Having told you why I cry
I will tell you why I laugh
Why my heart is full of joy
Why I smile and laugh aloud
Even when the devil bares his bloody fangs
Even when he casts his ugly shadow
Threatens to make it stay forever
On the horizon of my hopeful dreams

I will tell you why I laugh
Why twinkling stars sparkle in my eyes
Why merriment dances on my face
Even when the odds look so great
That reason suggests to quit and run
Even when the burdens weigh so heavy
That reason says to drop all cares

I will tell you why I laugh
Why my heart bubbles with pristine joy
Why even in sleep I keep my smile
Why even when fools with beads and gilded swords
When evil clad in mighty pious robes
Threatens to keep me forever chained
In the dark dungeons of his hellish greed

I will tell you why I laugh
Why day and night my soul rejoices
Why contentment sleeps and wakes with me
Why offense turns to merry mirth
Even when the mental fart of the racist mind
Causes fish and lizards collide
Causes elephants to dash for cover
And massive mountains turn to dust

I will tell you why I laugh
Because I have a friend so full of peace
Because I have a friend who's always there
Because I have a friend, a soothing spirit
That shelters me from harmful climes
That makes me feel so full of life
That devils, fools, and racists all
I calmly watch with amused mind
And laugh aloud with happy verse!
