In this edition;

- ATT delivers Miltary transport and other logistics vehicles to the Mali Military. The vehicles were made in Algeria and will augment the military's capacity in supporting the communities in which they operate.

- Mali launches African Integration Week with a rolling caravan. The vision of African integration was close to Independent Mali's first President Modibo Keita. ATT has just been re-elected by his peers to another term as President of UEMOA (The monetary wing of ECOWAS). He will witness the completion of UEMOA's new headquarters in Bamako. Ace I guess you're following this Integration thingy. Senegal concluded her Integration Caravan Tour last weekend with stops in Thies, Dakar, Banjul, Kayes, and Saint Louis.

- The Gaddafi Foundation, in partnership with Mali's Children's Foundation (LTT - Chair) has donated a health clinic to the Mali military in Kati. At a cost of 250 million Fcfa and an additional contribution of 150 million Fcfa by the ministry of Defense and Veterans' affairs, the clinic is built on 3 hectares and includes a surgical unit, a radiographic unit, an onsite pharmacy, and administrative blocs.

- Mali forms a National Commission on Human Rights. The idea is to have a national institution to monitor local performance vis-a-vis the international conventions Mali signs and to formulate a roadmap to setting the international standard for human rights in Mali. What a people Malians???????? There is no limit to what one can achieve when one is aware of his/her life's compass. The Commission's first President is Hon. Kadidia Sangare Coulibaly.

- Min. of Industry Hon. Ahmadou Abdoulaye Diallo reviews works on the Dialakorobougou Industrial Zone. The works entail the development of pertinent infrastructure that prospective industry will need in order to locate in Mali. Electricity, water and sewerage, raods, telecommunications, conference center and hotels. Berting Oil has already located to the zone and are doing marvelously. Come to Mali. You'll be glad you did!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ace are you going to relocate to Mali??? I've always wondered what an Art and Culture guru is doing in that God-forsaken Houston when they could be in Art & Culture haven in Dialakorobougou. There's nothing but Nigerian Potato-heads in Houston. No one told you? Well I'm telling you now. Houston is thinking about a similar law to Arizona's.

- Min. of Housing & Urban development Hon. Gakou Salimata Fofana delivered keys of some 20 homes to new homeowners in Niafounke'. This is part of the Mali Govt.'s objective to house every Malian who desires a home. The homes are built according to local architecture and aesthetics and the desires of the prospective homeowners. I think they ought to retrofit all these public housing homes with solar panels on the roofs so they can contribute to the local electricity grid. A communal vegetable farm is not a bad idea either.
