Thanks bro for your kind words.  The UDP UK has in the person of Kanjura Kanyi a real stand-up guy.  He is my Koto and i have been always impressed by his passion and fearlessness especially when it comes to his political beliefs.  I always argue with him but it is always cordial and respectful.  Though sometimes he will say to me i am really disappointed with you cos my uncle and anty always asked him to keep an eye on my sometimes unruly tendencies. Anyway, keep up the fire burning and howeve rmuch we disagree sometimes be rest assured that i for one respect you.

I will extend your warn greetings to Kanjura. I think we all know Gambian want the political parties to be seen and speaking. For us outside, the least we can do is encourage them to go out and talk. Our advise is, hold rallies, apply for license every day if possible. And engage the Gambian media in everything. The people must not lose hope. Dictators enjoy seeing hopelessness.

 

The UDP Suma event is nearing, and we hope the older guys can give more chance to the youths. It is the youths who can withstand the Jammeh fear rule.

The rally was well attended in the later part. The authorities as usual issued the license very late in order to affect the time and preparation of the party supporters across the country.

The UDP leader and other executive and party members calls for the release of Femi Peters and that, genuine democracy is given a chance in our country. The lawlessness and over spending, repression of the media and other issues dominate the agenda. The whereabouts of Kanyiba Kanyi is a big issue the government needs to listen to.

 

The party is glad with the relation other partners are showing towards a united effort.
