Uncle Saihou & Chris,

Thank you both a bunch. Credit be given to our eloquent speakers who all spoke very well, except the Serers. Now: no mention of names. Who the cap fits should wear this one. (humor).

On a more serious note, I am proud of all of you. Please keep it up!

thank you my dear Chris. my best regards to your entire family.

Hi Yero,

All I can say is that I am completely and utterly jealous that you got to go and I didn't:).

You had the opportunity to hang out with Coach, Musa, Demba, Donald, etc. and I didn't which makes me envious as H-E- double tooth pick if I think about it too long.

On a serious note; you did a marvelous job covering the events and I am now concrete in my belief that you can't just go to an event to observe. You multi task to squeeze the most value out of it that you possibly can. I am sure Donald Wright gave a great talk regarding his book and I will need to pick up a copy. I can't say that any type of history makes me jump for joy, since I think I am still slightly crossed eyed from an American History 101, 3 hour lecture commencing at 8am in my past with a professor that only spoke in one tone the entire time, but, I am always willing to be open-minded to new things. Come to think of it - I wish I could get that professor back by giving him a lecture on the female menstral cycle in a monotone voice for 3 fricking hours and see if I can't get his eyes to cross in the same way. Sorry to digress. I didn't know I held such sentiments until I started thinking about history.

Thanks again Yero for such a great service,
 Chris

Dr. Donald Wright's speech from the ALD. Please read, and I encourage all of you to purchase the book. It gives you current information about the Gambia. I didn't know that a foreigner, a white man (excuse its usage educated folks) for that matter can write our own history for us, and writes it so accurate. That is none but Dr. Donald Wright.

He is a sincere man, one that has visited the Gambia since 1974, when some of us were not born. I met him at the july 4th symposium in atlanta, and here again, he was another key figure celebrating ALD with Africans. What a man!

Sister Chris Sukuna, what say you on this one?

We still have more to present to you, and please stay tuned......
