You will be involve in the second stage of Telephone conference. It was a surprise telephone conference from Amnesty International yesterday. To my knowledge Amnesty International try to link with Abdullah Jobe and Malik Kah but they are not available. We spoke at length yesterday about the Gambia day of action yesterday and on-line was Fatou Jaw Manneh, Sheriff Bojang Junior in Dakar, Saikou Mballow, Alieu Badara Ceesay in Scotland and Yaya Dampha in Sweden. I am preparing a mailing list to inform all about the day. This years Day of Action hopefully will be to target the Coalition Government at Westminister ( waiting for permit confirmation) given that European Union is the major finance to Gambia Government and moreso they should be aware of human rights situation in the Gambia. All ready I have sent to Amnesty International the details of all the Gambia editors and have spoke to Pa Nderry Mbai about their input to make the day a success. These years campaign will be held in 15 countries. Basir Ayodele Ameen Camapign Africa Programme will be in New York and Washington next week. Saikou Mballow is aware his schedule trip and we want all the cities where Gambians are present in their number to join their local Amnesty International Chapter for the day.
