It is important that we clarify this issue once and for all. Does the
international criminal court has jurisdiction over crimes committed by Sana
Sabally, Edward, Yahya Jammeh, Peter Singhateh and the many others for
slaying some Gambians? What are the criteria, I hope some legal minded
member can help. Thanks.

Gambia: Journalist DA Jawo Appalled By Kejau Touray’s November 11
Revelations!!!
Journalist DA Jawo Appalled By Kejau Touray’s November 11 Revelations!!!

“If indeed Kejau, who was a material witness to what took place, can come
out so open and narrate the extra-judicial executions that allegedly took
place on that fateful day, then this is good material for both the German
government, where one of the alleged perpetrators, Sana Sabally now lives
and the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, to launch an
investigation against those who bear responsibility for such heinous
atrocities against Gambians, for crimes against humanity,” Mr. Jawo writes
from Dakar.

Dear Editor,
I listened with awe and trepidation to Kejau

If indeed Kejau, who was a material witness to what took place, can come out
so open and narrate the extra-judicial executions that allegedly took place
on that fateful day, then this is good material for both the German
government, where one of the alleged perpetrators, Sana Sabally now lives
and the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, to launch an
investigation against those who bear responsibility for such heinous
atrocities against Gambians, for crimes against humanity.

Indeed, it is a well known fact that the truth of what actually took place
on November 11 has never been told, but Kejau's narration is no doubt a very
good lead which needs to be followed in order to get to the bottom of what
took place. This was certainly such a great crime against Gambians that it
should never be allowed to go uninvestigated and unpunished.

While there may have been an attempt to overthrow the AFPRC junta as
alleged, but that was definitely no excuse to execute anyone without going
through the due process of law. Therefore, those who perpetrated such a
heinous act had committed a crime for which they should never be allowed to
go scot-free. It is therefore incumbent upon all those who, like Kejau, have
had first-hand evidence of what took place to come out and share it with
concerned Gambians and the international community.
