Thanx Yero for this reminder of Brother Musa Pembo. It appears you heard from him the latest. Had he shared any anxieties or illnesses in your communication with him? The man is not much given to fanfare and exaltations. I find him to be extremely humble and a generous soul. I wonder if he lived with family. Perhaps a family member or close friend can relieve our anxieties. Ordinarily, if nothing has come over him, talk of the expiration of one will elicit relief if indeed he is alive. I fear the sad news might be accurate.

Folks,

It also worries me greatly about Musa Pembo. Upon seeing the discussion thread here, I e-mailed him and as of now no response. I last heard from him on 06/20/10. It is very rare especially in the month of Ramadan that I don't hear from. I am part of his e-mail list, and I enjoyed a lot of forwarded stories from him, some of which Baldeh published on Gainako. The latest on 06/20 was a story about a young Nigerian scientist, Ify Aniebo.

Can someone please help?

Wherever he is, in whatever shape or form, I honestly send him my prayers.

Thanks for sharing guys!
Yero.
