In this edition:

-ATT is special guest of this year's plenary session of the EU parliament. Among African heads of state, only Bouteflika of Algeria and Mubarak of Egypt have been accorded the honour. ATT gives a Press Conference after his landmark speech. What a gracious partner to the EU. He makes special and much deserved mention of Germany. ATT continues to highlight the imminent considerations of the Sahelo-Saharan Belt region. That region of barren waste that is the domicile of vagrants and bandits. You may read ATT's entire speech at Koulouba presidential website
-Mali celebrates World Literacy Day on 9/8/2010. UNESCO assists in celebrating this special jubilee literacy day.The role and value of the woman is highlighted.
-Hon. Bellegarde considers security at Mali's educational institutions. Roving bandits looking for Jakartas and vulnerable students. They refuse education and wish to prevent their fellow citizens from educating themselves. Idiots.
-Mali-50. Alright let's clean it up. No more squatters. No more vagrancy. I mean this brand spanking new spaghetti junction, and the idiots spread their stinking tables in the middle of the road. Men!!!
-The youth employment scheme realizing some value. Thank you APEJ. Kati does us proud.
-Office Du Niger proposes several ambitious projects for Mali-50. EU assists. Electrification of the village of Macina also in the works.
-ADEMA-Pasj visits with CNID-Faso Yiriwaton. Dioncounda Traore and Mountaga Tall work for Mali. Just like YELEMA and CODEM.
-EU donates medical equipment to several hospitals in Timboctou. Thank you EU. Finally the French are not clowning around.
-Residents of a new public housing project in Yirimadio decry the incomplete nature of their access road. He said the new homes are beautiful but they can't go anywhere. They're landlocked. What??? Lodgement sociaux!!!! I think PM Sidibe will do something about this before Mali-50 celebrations.
-Traffic in Bamako is a friggin nightmare. Just like Newyork. Even worse. These Jakartas need to have their own lanes. I have a solution; construct double-decker roads everywhere and move all jakartas on top. Just hope trucks don't run into the columns. Clearance my friend.

And much much more.
