Dear all,

The above link is a story about a dog rescuing a woman from a sex attacker. Daily Express reported that the attacker was an 18 yr old Iranian illegal immigrant and that he would be deported once he is sentenced in court.

The story is full of conjectures. What has being a failed asylum seeker got to do with his sex attack. Would the story be less sensational had  the attacker been a British?
