Good Morning all,
STGDP, in partnership with other political activists, are calling on all Gambians and their friends to participate in calling Gambia's opposition leaders and express your desire to see them sit at the negotiation table. Please read the below action item and we ask that everyone take a few minutes to call and let these individuals know how important, how critical it is for them to unite. We also encourage everyone to send this post to your personal distribution list of friends and family, post it on your facebook page or publish it on your blog.This will make an enormous difference and please help us communicate the importance of making the calls.
Thank you for your support to make this iniative a success!

Vote 2011 – Urgency for a United Opposition
The 2011 Presidential Election is just around the corner. Gambia’s opposition leaders have a responsibility to give the people the best hope of political change and a reason to go to the polls and vote for change.
The electorates have expressed their frustrations in the form of voter apathy against the lack of strong formidable opposition unity against Jammeh.
As concerned Gambians we too have a stake in this process and have called upon the opposition leaders to come to the table and discuss the possibility of forming an opposition alliance against Jammeh in 2011.
Will you stand with us and call on the leaders of the opposition parties to urgently get to the negotiation table and forge a strong opposition alliance?
Please call this weekend;
Ousainou Darboe of the UDP at 9911588
Sedia Jatta of PDOIS at 9947444/6534532
Omar Jallow (OJ) of PPP at: 9916474
Halifa Sallah of PDOIS at: 9902864/4393177
And urge them to get to the negotiating table without any pre-conditions by October 31, 2010.
Please be respectful and polite in your call to these leaders.
Together we can get our country back on the right path to genuine democracy!!
We thank you for your support and unity!
Sincerely,
STGDP in collaberation with our political activist partners
