Bailo,

It is generally understood among humans that egregious atrocities, crimes, and ecstasy are not forgotten. Indeed that is the hallmark of the human acumen. It is from these memories and histories that we mend our ways and grow forth. It is however another matter to cast odious aspersion on your fellow innocent citizen or commute war with one party onto another who is as far removed from that war as night is removed from day. I am pleased you recall some wisdom. And luckily, you have afforded me another opportunity to continue my Amicus of the La-Guinea army. I shall be adding onto the original living Amicus momentarily. Look for it.

Your prayer for the people of La-Guinea will indeed be answered, by DaarManso's grace and the grace of your forebears. I love to around with you, and save for your timid sabbaticals, I look forward to hearing you sing. Now go away.

Haruna.

Haruna,

I am mighty glad that you now appreciate that some of us do not have a short memory span.
There are mass murderers of civilians still serving in La Guinea's armed forces.

I wish the people of La Guinea justice, peace and prosperity as I do for the whole human race. Ameen!

Now you hang around with me.

Cheers!

Bailo

Isn't this the same army that mass-murdered over hundred of their own compatriots and raped and sexually-molested Guinean women in broad daylight in September 2009?] Bailo.

Yes Bailo, some members of this same army committed those and many more atrocities in La-Guinea.

[No person is yet to be hold accountable for those crimes.] Bailo.

No. And one of the reasons no one has been held accoutable yet is because we cannot do the accounting without a responsible government to begin deliberations on it. You will be comforted to reflect that some accounting has already taken place and it is:
1. The CNDD imploded. A transition government was put in place. An ECOWAS mediator in Compaore helped clear the way for elections so that a government can be established.

2. The crimes committed during the September Massacre will be investigated and prosecuted by the war crimes tribunal. Hon. Bensouda was in La-Guinea as late as last week to reassure La-Guineans of her office's commitment to prosecute the culprits of those crimes.

3. It was because of those crimes that La-Guinea's journey toward democracy has been accelerated. If those crimes hadn't occured, we would perhaps still be in a state of flux with a CNDD contesting the elections alongside the civilians for the governing of La-Guinea.

These prosecutions of those crimes above (1-3) are being conducted by Allah. After a government is in place in La-Guinea, humans will prosecute the crimes again.

[It doesn't matter because most of the victims are peuls. Ehh?] Bailo.

Bailo this is very callous of you and borders on dis-eased logic. First of all, it doesn't really matter if victims of crime are either Peul, Minianka, Malinke, Soussou, Wollof, Aku, Sarahule, Serb, Cypriot, European, Arab, Guarani, or Papuan. The victim of a crime is generally not at fault, and when they are killed, they do not have the opportunity to defend themselves in any court except the court of the Almighty Allah. And Allah continues to prosecute on their behalf. In this world of ours, It is the culprit of the crime who must now face the music of his/her peers.

Now I know this insidious aspersion from you is misguided. You will remember me when the crimes occured. I on the other hand do not remember your erstwhile advocacies whether you believe most of the victims were Peul, Malinke, Soussou, Base Cote, or Forrestiere, or a mix of these ethnicities. At least you acknowledge there may have been some members of these ethnicities who were victims. Perchance, I played an honorable role in bringing us and La-Guinea to this point where finally we may prosecute those massacres and violations. I will not even attempt to allay your fears Bailo or massage your fosse ego. You need quite a bit more understanding to reach my station in life. I will continue to work on the behalf of victims of crimes, whether those victims happen to be Peul, Peul, or Peul. The Peul do not occupy any more special place in my heart than the guarani, Malinke, Soussou, Papuan, base Cote, Forrestieres, Timne, Hawsa, or the bedouin. By the same token, I have qualification for victim and culprit. Graphics are the ware of the charlatan. Not me.

With this attitude Bailo, you're doing the Peul a lot of disservice because surely, whatever I think of the Peul, I am not directly involved in prosecuting crimes against the Peul. It may be instructive to inform you that you Bailo are no more Peul than Me Haruna. You may want to conduct some sober research.

Now go away.

Haruna.

The army of all nations issues from the citizenry of that nation. The quality of an army appreciates as the nation as a whole matures enhanced by the professional development curriculum of the army.

Prior to La-Guinea's independence, the military was a ragtag militia trained and organised by La-Guinea's coloniser France. This army did not have the luxury of a seamless transition to an independent and well-disciplined army but despite the abrupt impoundment of Independence, this La-GUinea army that everyone loves to hate, was the achilles heel in the viral independences of African nations from the coast to the Sudan, from the Maghreb to the Congo, all with a shoestring budget that will cower the timid and reserve their lot in life to permanent slavery and subservience.

After France's demoralizing expulsion from La-Guinea, she worked tirelessly to make sure La-Guinea administrations are undermined and that France saves face. The legacy of France in La-Guinea was inextricably linked to France's treasures in the rest of Africa and to the extent La-Guinea was spoiler, she threatened the very viability of France as a future superpower. There is a reason why France has never been considered as a superpower even though the scope of her "Commonwealth" was superior to that of the regarded superpowers of the UK, USA, and the Soviet Union. The black African could not possibly be the thorn in France's side. The scheme of destabilization ensued with the recruitment of collaborators among the Africans themselves. My Texarcana churchman, Grimes, once shared with me. Haruna, there is no readier recruit for general malaise than a hungry and enslaved cadre.

Through all the machinations of a virulent subpower, the La-GUinea army forged ahead with new and different allies mainly from the east. At the time, the armies of the east themselves were engaged in protecting their territories and peoples from the glistening eyes of a demoralized colonizer who believed that because of her inherent superiority manifested in empire and serial colonies. The chinese have developed a proverb for such hungry eyes. That proverb was to guide their self-improvement and fortification philosophies through the centuries. These are the savior nations and armies that La-Guinea had to rely on for her very survival. Human RIghts becomes a distant consideration if there were no humans to claim those rights. These armies and nations were fighting for the very survival of their cultures and peoples.

Since Independence, La-Guinea knew no peace. France made sure of that. However, and with the goodwill of savior nations and armies, these brave citizens of La-Guinea and Africa repelled many machiavellian and brazen attempts at destruction by the frustrated and disgruntled armies of the colonizers and their surrogates, to include enemy collaborators from within their good number. They are citizens of La-Guinea, and no one can claim to love La-Guinea more than they do. Their character mirrors their history and experiences, to include surrogate invading armies from the neighborhood. They are at the same time, a manifestation of the proud and tempestuous citizens of La-Guinea. If it were'nt for this pride and tempest, La-Guinea will never have been independent or assisted in the independence of the other Africans.

Hail La-Guinea army!!! Thank God/Allah for you. We are eternally indebted to you for our very lives, for which we imagine rights. With you, we are confident the glistening eyes of the colonizer, ever ready to recolonize, will dull with intervening time and global events.

I thank you on my own behalf.

Haruna.
