Thank you Bailo for the kind words. I wish you would quit calling President Conde' "The Real Alpha Conde" already. If you don't, I will take the challenge of convincing you to. That is my homework for the next year. Allow me to impound on your notes:

Haruna,  The information content on your GDP website is quite impressive.] Bailo.

I thank you Bailo for the encouragement. we will endeavour to improve The GDP continuously and I encourage you to visit often. One of our board members will be working on the companion French Site and we appreciate any comments or impressions you may have for improvement. Thank you Bailo.

[The valedictory speech of President-elect, Real Professor Alpha Conde that is carried in its entirety on the site reflects a source of great hope about the future prospects of La Guinea.] Bailo.

Indeed Bailo. The Original French version was translated by Gibril at The Patriotic Vanguard of SierraLeone and I think he did a marvelous job. So I did not try to re-translate it. The French original version will appear on our French Companion site. We are indebted to Gibril and his team at The Patriotic Vanguard.

[I am also highly impressed about the reaction of some die-hard UFDG supporters that I have discussed with the outcome of the elections in my neighbourhood. Whereas a minority of them are adamant that the outcome was rigged,] Bailo.

You and I share similar sentiments in our recognition of "die-hard" UFDG supporters. Verily I cannot breathe for their constant badgering. Especially my friend restaurateur Kouyate who kept trying to convince me Alpha was too old, Dalein was younger and more handsome. I mean if I had a dime for every time Kouyate asks me if I had switched to supporting Dalein yet, I'd be a rich, rich man by now. The only difference between the quality of comments you and I receive from these die-hard Diallovites is that whereas yours seemed to hinge on allegations of rigging (just like the 1st Symphony voting), mine seemed to hinge on "Its the Fulas' turn to rule La-Guinea. All in jest. For solace, I will share with you that claims of rigged elections, even after a thorough cleansing of the CENI, the removal of Lounceny Camara from its presidency, the assassination of Hon. Tall of the Rainbow Alliance, the poisoning and hospitalization of Rainbow Alliance supporters, the theft of computers from the CENI stockade, the increase of voter precincts per capita, and the winning of the Toure and Sylla strongholds by Conde', the signed agreement by both contenders that they will assign poll-watchers at all precincts, will be a dime a dozen. After we ventilate claims and counterclaims of rigging, the fact still will remain that Conde was the choice of the overwhelming majority of the constitutive ethnicities of La-Guinea. A nation is not a tribal enclave. Several tribes generally agree to form a nation.

[the majority of them are also highly encouraged by the latest reassurances from President-elect Conde that his government would pursue realisation of the policies of national cohesion and development for the interest of every Guinean.] Bailo.

By its very definition and constitution, the Rainbow Alliance is a far superior construct for all La-Guineans. Take a look at it. President Conde was merely telescoping that dispensation. This was the reason why President Conde was the choice of the most La-Guineans. You will agree with me that having undergone decades of persecutions and untold hardship, the people of La-Guinea do not have the luxury of giving any of the two contenders the benefit of the doubt. They made sure they voted for the right man for La-Guinea at this time. Like you, the hopefulness of President Conde's speech will go a long way to calm tempestuous nerves. It was the morning after.

[Thanks for referring me to The GDP website; I have more gained more knowledge from my visit of the site and hereby also encourage others to do so.] Bailo.

Thank you again Bailo. I encourage you to add to our knowledge base at The GDP web-experience when time permits you. We will highly appreciate it. Through all the back and forth between myself and my Fula friends, I have only lost one friend. I think after the ideas settle in, she will come to. And we will be friends all over again. I acknowledged all her consternations and desires. I just have to convince her the world evolves as time comes and goes. There is not much value in rehashing historic dogmas and conflicts. Certainly not bring President Conde' in guilty for the actions or inactions of other. If Conde's near sainthood does not convince these La-Guineans that he is the best man for La-Guinea as the country attempts to break with her past, then the ode to La-Guinea cannot find requiem in the Konate Illiads.

[Finally, I believe there are at least one or two invaluable lessons that the Gambian opposition could derive from La Guinea's election outcome. We just need to figure out what.] Bailo.

Bailo, you still haven't figured that out? I don't believe you men. You're just pulling my friggin legs Evian.

[For a  start, methinks that we might also need a "General" from abroad to preside over the 2011 presidential polls.] Bailo.

No way. What? I'm not gonna tell you what I think on this because I know you already know. What I will share with you though is that General Siaka Sangare came after Conte', Dadis, Diakite, and Sylla. In other words you have to prepare the ground first inorder for a foreign General to be an improvement over Gambia's current charlatans at the IEC.

[Our so-called Independent Electoral Commission is subject to the direction and control of the Gambian Government with all the members hand-picked by the President.] Bailo.

REALLY Evian????????????????????????????????? You're a funny man Bailo.

[Thanks] Bailo

No. You Thanx. I still love you. Infact I love you more now. Mams I don't wanna hear it.
Haruna.

Hon. Cellou Dallen Diallo and his party militants are best advised to resort to constitutional avenues towards seeking to redress any grievance that they have expressed about the validity of the results in certain areas where real Prof Alpha Conde was declared the winner. It would be highly ill-advised at this volatile and potentially explosive stage if aggrieved supporters of Dallen Diallo resort to confrontation with the security forces on the streets of La formidable La Guinea. No more sacrifice of innocent lives!

On the other hand, the real Prof President-elect is urged to extend an olive branch to all political leaders in La Guinea starting with the formation of an inclusive government with national reconciliation and development as their primary objectives.

I wish the people of La Guinea well and a successful democacy in progress.

Its a great day in La-Guinea. The people of this proud and unapologetic nation have waited for too long for this day, amid an unrelenting vortex of national decrepitude and foreign meddling. I hope now they will give themselves the time to reflect on the past 52 years and set about to diligently right the sails and head due-north. Haruna.

Here is Guinee24 correspondent Karim Bah.
