Heheheheheh!  My body die for Gambia.  Barely three days ago I was watching a Senegalese Movie by Ousmane Sembene call Gelewarr, narrating about the Askani Saaku Ndymbal syndrome in Africa and in our case, Gambia.  A beggar nation. Now our people form societies to get their take.  The youths saw the adults perfect the art and now they are also going for their cut.  The SICK gave him a title - Sheikh; The Universities gave him a title - Professor; The societies line up to pay homage; The dysfunctional literate offer themselves as doormat; Aaaaaah, the Chiefs envision to make him King of Kings and Lord of Lords; Then the Lion King of Kanilai offer tens of rams for the youth to eat and be merry and now the youth are felicitating with the King.  There is a reason why all these things are happening in the Gambia and places like the Gambia.  A people deserve the leadership they encourage.  We play a big role in what is happening in the Gambia - a Beggar Nation. Anything is game. Chei!

SYDO felicitates President Jammeh

Africa » Gambia
Tuesday, December 28, 2010
The Sarahulleh Youth Development Organisation (SYDO) has sent a letter of felicitation to the Gambian leader, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh on the occasion of the Muslim New Year.

The message reads:
Your Excellency, our organisation has very high impressions of your personality, especially with regard to the propagation of Islam and the defense of African pride. With you, there is hope for the ultimate liberation of Africa from hostile forces from around the world. We see in you a chance to promote our culture and to be proud of ourselves.

This is visible in the way you dress, the way you talk and your marriage of a second wife. We take this opportunity to congratulate you on your newfound love. May she bring peace and harmony to the first family. We thank the first lady for her courage and piety in accepting a co-wife. May Allah bless her abundantly. You, on the whole, represent the African personality. We finally take this opportunity to congratulate you on an event AH1431 and pray for successful AH1432. We wish you and your loved ones a very happy New Year.
